Job Summary

The Marketing and Sales Representative will play a key role in increasing patient footfall, brand visibility, and referral volumes through structured field marketing and professional networking.

The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with optometrists, doctors, clinics, hospitals, corporates, and NGOs to ensure a consistent flow of patient referrals to ASG/Vasan Eye Care hospitals.


Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing & Promotions

  • Plan and execute on-ground marketing activities to promote eye care treatments and specialized hospital services.
  • Promote hospital services through direct interactions with healthcare professionals and community partners.

Referral Network Development

  • Build and manage a strong referral network of:
    • Optometrists
    • Private clinics
    • Physicians & consultants
    • Optical stores
    • Diagnostic centers
    • Corporate offices and NGOs

Doctor & Partner Visits

  • Conduct regular visits to doctors, optical stores, and healthcare centers to generate high-quality patient referrals.
  • Strengthen long-term professional relationships to support sustainable referral growth.

Community Outreach Programs

  • Organize and support:
    • Eye screening camps
    • OPD promotions
    • Health awareness programs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of outreach activities.

Target & Performance Management

  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly referral and revenue targets.
  • Contribute actively to hospital growth objectives.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with:
    • Hospital operations
    • Front office teams
    • Clinical and counseling teams
  • Ensure smooth conversion and follow-up of referred patients.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate daily field visit reports.
  • Track referral data, activities, and performance metrics for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Intermediate or Graduate in any discipline.

Experience

  • 2 to 7 years of proven experience in:
    • Field Sales
    • Healthcare Marketing
    • Medical or Referral Marketing

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
